Description

As a new type of fused synthetic refractory material, based on our development of Fused Zeilanite and Hercynite,it is fused at high temperature in special furnace and then cooled naturally,it should maintain the tiny reduction to avoid FeO being oxidized to Fe2O3, and the generation of Fe during the fusing process. Fused magnesia-hercynite shows even big crystal with none crystal boundary,resembling to vitreous material under the microscope.

Without pollution by Cr6+, mainly used in large-sized cement convertor, hercynite brick replaces present chromite brick in cement rotary kin, lengthens the working life of Iining brick (10-12 months for Chrome Magnesia Brick, 17-18 months for Hercynite Brick), highly reduces the consuming in labor and resources for refractory production, lessens the production cost, completely achieves chromite-free production in cement kiln, resolves social effects of chrome pollution. MG-FE-AL spinel sand represents high quality chromite-free refractory material of new age in cement rotary kin.
